This vase with a sea coral and seashell represents one of the pinnacles of Bohemian porcelain production, the Rococo Revival period. It is a return to the Rococo decorativeness inspired by French taste, showcasing excellent craftsmanship and a thorough study of historical forms – but it is also playful, gallant, filled with wit and charm.
